Rome, Via Cassia on March 22, 2022
Dear Mother Daria and all the sisters who are in every corner where our congregation reaches; Sisters Superiors of the communities, Provincial and Regional Sisters:
On this second day of spring in which nature has begun to adorn itself with its best colors, we remember a very important date, the day our Mother Vicenta Maria came into this world and it could be said that since this March 22, 1847, the Lord prepared the gift of the Charism to which today we are called to continue giving life because it has not gone out of fashion, it has not expired, because following the Gospel, it continues to be current. On this day we want to approach each one of them, first of all, to thank them for their presence, so palpable, which has accompanied us in this time of grace: THE THIRD DAY. It could be said that we have already reached the top, but the truth is that, as a father told us: “the Terceronado is just about to start”. So, we want to share our deepest wishes that with the Lord’s grace, we will put it into practice in our ordinary life.
WALK
We want to keep walking, moved by the echo of a promise:
Do not be afraid, I am with you, it is I, you are mine, I have called you by name,” and to the rhythm of the Spirit, we march, seduced by his voice and ready for the unexpected, giving the best of ourselves, “I am with you, it is I, you are mine, I have called you by name” .
Do not allow excuses and mediocrity to extinguish our love, our dreams, our disposition and our apostolic courage. To always walk towards my sister, towards the most needy young woman.
To paint the landscape with colors, just as the earth is clothed today, and to let ourselves be carried by the wind of his Spirit, which cleanses, renews, gives life and caresses. We want to give ourselves without petty calculations. To walk, to make of existence a permanent way out to bring Him, being aware that we belong to Him alone.
May joy be felt in the heart, may the truth fill the encounter with content and may love be expressed in the kindness of words, in closeness, in accompaniment, in the fruitfulness of deeds, in the small details that are priceless.
To cling to the earth without fear of getting dusty, without fear of making mistakes, without fear of risk, to give it all: the abundance of time, all our youth. May our gaze always be positive, capable of caressing in the open, and may our smile be capable of lasting even when the reasons for joy are scarce. May our walk be on firm paths, but may we also do so when groping and in silence.
To walk without maps, to walk and make a path where no one has trodden, because what has already been traced conditions. To walk, yes, always with Him and like Him.
This is what we wanted to share with you, and please continue to pray for us; we ask this in a special way to our older sisters, they are a very important testimony for us. May the God of tenderness and goodness bless each one.
With love: Monique, Lucila, Catherine, Lara, Susana, Margarite, Pilar, Griselda, Rouseline, Marites and Eneyda.
