In October 2020, the Quoto community began an apostolic missionary outreach in the city of Alóag, Mejía, 45 km from Quito. Our pastoral work is carried out in coordination with the Pastor, accompanying the various parish groups, with emphasis on the youth group, the communion ministers, and the sacramental pastoral work in two of the most remote communities of the parish.
Marcelo Arévalo, the only priest in that city, enthroned the image of our foundress in one of the side altars of the parish of Our Lady of the Assumption of Alóag, in thanksgiving to God and to the Congregation for the support that we, the Religious of Mary Immaculate, offer in this city. The Eucharist was attended by the Aloense community, the RMI Quito community and 3 Molavim in formation.
Fraternal greetings. Your Sisters of the Community Quito, ECUADOR
