House in NY…

October 15, 2020, marked 55 years since the New York church led by Cardinal Spellman approved the mission of the Religious of Mary Immaculate in New York. At that time we were given a residence already started several years ago to receive immigrant women.

Today our mission is temporarily interrupted by the lack of a house to welcome young immigrant girls. The one provided by Catholic Charities is no longer available.

The RMI community is staying in the city for the time being and will continue to look for a place to continue the mission.
