Today is a great day…. Pope Francis has given us the Decree of the Heroic Virtues of the Servant of God Maria Stella de Jesus Iglesias Fidalgo… The entire Congregation rejoices and thanks the Lord for this new “gift”, trusting that it will also be able to give thanks for a miracle by which she can be declared ‘Blessed’…..
On June 19, 2021, the Holy Father Francis received in audience His Most Reverend Eminence Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints. During the audience, the Supreme Pontiff authorized the said Congregation to promulgate decrees concerning:
– the miracle attributed to the intercession of the Venerable Servant of God Johann Philipp Jeningen, professed priest of the Society of Jesus; born on January 5, 1642 in Eichstätt (Germany) and died in Ellwangen (Germany) on February 8, 1704.
– the martyrdom of the Servants of God Maria Paschalis Jahn (born Maria Magdalena) and 9 companions, professed nuns of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Elizabeth, killed for hatred of the Faith in Poland in 1945.
– the heroic virtuesof the Servant of God Severino Fabriani, diocesan priest, founder of the Congregation of the “Daughters of Providence for the Deaf and Dumb”; born on January 7, 1792 in Spilamberto (Italy) and died in Modena (Italy) on August 27, 1849.
– the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Angela Rosa Godecka, Foundress of the Congregation of the Little Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary; born on September 13, 1861 in Korczew nad Wolga (Russia) and died in Częstochowa (Poland) on October 13, 1937.
– the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Orsola Donati, professed nun of the Congregation of the Minim Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows; born on October 22, 1849 in Anzola dell’Emilia (Italy) and died in Budrie di San Giovanni in Persiceto (Italy) on April 8, 1935.
– the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Maria Estrella de Jesus (born Maria Aurelia Iglesias Fidalgo), professed sister of the Congregation of the Religious of Mary Immaculate; born on April 12, 1899 in Colunga (Spain) and died in Granada (Spain) on November 24, 1982.
– the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Robert Schuman, a faithful layman, born on June 29, 1886 in Clausen (Luxembourg) and died in Scy-Chazelles (France) on September 4, 1963.
