Chapter Province India

On November 4, the Provincial Chapter began in Regina Pacis, Mumbai. The Chapter Community is composed of 35 sisters and accompanied by Sr. Vijaya Sebastian HCM, of the Holy Cross Congregation.

On the 5th we were on retreat and on the 6th we had the Inaugural Mass of the Holy Spirit in our chapel at 7 am. The setting and liturgy were well prepared by the sisters in charge of the liturgy. The celebrant was Fr. Joshan Rodriguez. In his homily he stressed the importance of Spiritual Conversation (Ignatian term), listening with love, openness to the Holy Spirit who embodies the plurality of voices. He asked that Mary, our Mother, accompany us in this event as she did with the disciples in the Cenacle and that we experience the outpouring of the Holy Spirit as we begin our Provincial Chapter.

In her words of welcome to the delegates, the Provincial said that the Provincial Chapter is a moment of grace for all of us, to seek together what God wants of us.

We thank you for your prayers and ask you to continue praying for us.
A fraternal embrace from all of us who make up this chapter community.
