From Recanto Vicenta Maria, in the city of Vargem Grande Paulista, in the interior of São Paulo, we would like to inform you of the beginning of the XV Provincial Chapter in the Brazilian Province.

On October 24, we all gathered in this corner that brings back many memories to each one of us.
Sr. Concepción Peregrina and the Sister Councilors had prepared the environment in a very beautiful way, with an ornamentation in the Chapel, making present the seven charismatic traits as gifts of the Holy Spirit to our Congregation; the Chapter Hall, decorated like a large vine, rooted in the Word of God and cared for by the Immaculate Virgin and Saint Vicenta Maria. Also in the room of each one we found some detail, having in everything a seal of home, of communion, of fraternity. Antonio Carlos de Souza, diocesan, invited us to be open to all that this congregational and ecclesial event entails.
On the 25th we had a day of retreat, with the theme of the Gospel of John 15, 1-17 – Abide in my love -, prepared by Sr. Concepción Peregrina. In the afternoon, Fr. Antonio Carlos presided the Eucharist of the Holy Spirit, motivating us to ask for the Spirit – for to the one who asks it is given – and to seek the Will of God. After the Eucharist, recognizing that the Lord has chosen us and has called each one of us to this mission (cf. Jo 15:16), we were called one by one to receive a candle, which we lit in the Paschal Candle and then we went in procession to the Chapter Hall, where we began.
Placing the journey of these days under the protection and company of the Immaculate Virgin, with a Hail Mary, we embrace you all, knowing that many of you are also living in your provinces this time of grace and blessing for our Congregation and for the whole Church.
